GRAPELOGY: Merlot

Friends, we are pleased to present Grapelogy: Merlot, our newest research on grapes and their combination with beer. We have added Merlot grapes to this Triple Grape Ale. Connoisseurs know that this variety is distinguished by notes of chocolate, vanilla and red berries, especially when aged in oak barrels. So, combined with warm malt and caramel tones, we have a strong, comforting ale that is a bit like a dry sherry or port. We're already looking forward to experimenting with other grape varieties, and we're itching to do so. We hope that Merlot will open up a number of different interesting Grapelogies.
