This imperial stout was aged in a North British Scotch whisky cask from the Lowland region. This is the first pour after Pedro Ximenez Spanish sherry, which means that the warming caramel, biscuit notes of grain whisky are joined by light berry, grape and even refreshing notes. It all lays down perfectly on a rich chocolate base and is very easy (and devious) to drink.
